LeoVegas Launches with Playtech’s Open Platform

Malta-licensed mobile casino operator, LeoVegas, launches with Playtech’s Open Platform (POP). The launch will see LeoVegas add Playtech’s extensive casino games catalogue which include over 500 titles in the coming weeks. First up for integration will be 8 desktop and 5 mobile titles from Ash Gaming including Wild Gambler, Bounty and the Beanstalk, and Heart of the Jungle.

In addition to accessing their extensive catalogue of games, The Playtech Open Platform (POP) allows licensees to access the platform’s enhanced business intelligence capabilities and bonusing tools. The POP platform has already been rolled out to UK online gaming giants Bet365, Gala Coral, and Ladbrokes. The move by LeoVegas to launch on the platform is the latest in their current iniatiative to increase UK market share. In January 2015, LeoVegas announced plans for a multi-million pound UK marketing campaign.

Johan Styren, CEO of LeoVegas Gaming states, “Integrating the Playtech Open Platform further accelerates our momentum and adds great value to our consumer promise of always delivering the best gaming experience. LeoVegas is all about leading the way into the mobile future.”

Playtech Vice-President of Sales, Steve Schrier, comments further, “The last 12 months has been the most successful for POP and news of LeoVegas and further large-scale licensees joining us on the industry’s most dynamic and accessible open platform is great news.”
