At one of the biggest casino expo’s of the year, Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, International Gaming Technology (IGT) in partnership with Lionsgate announced they are unveiling a new slot based on the critically acclaimed comedy-drama television series Orange is the New Black. Two versions will be developed, one to be released at IGT’s DoubleDown Casino while the other will be released at land-based Casinos.
The Orange is the New Black video slot will be based on Piper Kerman’s character played by lead actress, Taylor Schilling. She will play the lead role in the slot game version as well. The five reel and thirty payline slot will include two game themes on IGT’s Center Stage Duo™ cabinet, an orange and a black. The orange theme will be played out on a new 4×5 reel configuration while the black theme will be played out on 3×5 reels with 30 paylines. Each game will award one of three multi-level progressives.
Other features of the Orange is the New Black slot includes bonus rounds like Crazy Eyes’ Wild Feature, Alex’s More Symbols Feature, Mendoza’s Double Game Feature, and Piper’s ALL FEATURES! showcase bonus, which combines all characters’ bonus rounds together for big player rewards!
