Blood Suckers from Net Entertainment

We’re jumping on the Vampire bandwagon a little late with this one because Blood Suckers has been around a while. The game is so popular amongst players, however, that Net Entertainment has released the game on mobile with Blood Suckers TouchTM. We therefore thought now would be a good time to provide a full review of the popular game. Plus, Blood Suckers are not going anywhere – they’re undead people, people!

The Game

Its NetEnt, so even though it is not of the latest generation of games the animation and graphics are of an above average mark. The game is played on a 5 reel 25 payline structure. There is a predictably creepy and slow paced soundtrack with regular ghoulish screams and ghostly interludes. Players can choose from a range of coins which vary in value from 0.01 to 0.50. This means the minimum wager is 0.01 and the maximum is £/€/$50. Working your way around the screen the bet lines are clearly displayed as are your bet options and a clear feature options button, which we always like to see. The reel spin button can be used also to stop the reels at the timing of your choice. The game symbols feature all the classic vampire hunter paraphernalia. Holy water, garlic, the Bible, wooden stakes and silver crossbows act as game symbols.

Wilds & Scatters

The wild is represented by helpless female victim. This allows wins by substituting for all other icons except the bonus stake or scattered symbols.

The Scatter is represented by the Vampire Icon. Land three or more of these and you will earn ten free spins. Wins during free spins will also be tripled and can repeat if the process is repeated during free spins.

Bonus Game

The bonus game in Bloodsuckers is triggered by hitting three plus bonus icons, arranged from left to right on a payline. At this point you will be transported to the bonus game screen where you will find twelve unopened coffins. Reveal a day sleeper inside and plug him/her with a wooden stake and you win a cash prize. Of the 12 coffins three contain bats, hit one of these and the bonus round comes to an abrupt end. Probability dictates each bonus round NS you should get something out of the bonus round.

Summary

It is reasonable to assume that Bloodsuckers is pitched at the younger market but the game has enough morbid fascination to appeal to a broad gaming base. Clearly it’s appeal has been large enough to demand for Net Entertainment to now release it on mobile. We enjoyed our time playing Vampire hunters.
