Attention Slot Developers- Steal these slot theme ideas!

Attention_Slot_Developers_Steal_These_Slot_Theme_Ideas
While we sat in our daily brainstorming meeting one day last week we found ourselves discussing the best online slot games that never existed – or at least did not exist to our knowledge, in online form. And that got us thinking, after all that is what brainstorming meetings are all about. Lets throw it open to the floor! See if we can’t get some input up in here and who knows, maybe we might get somebody who has the power to make these things happen, to make these things happen.

So here’s the drill: ATTENTION SLOT DEVELOPERS, or indeed just online slot enthusiasts with a little imagination- Throw us your ideas for a slot game that you would want to play. To get you started, here are a bunch of ideas that we managed to come up with around the Free Slot Money table whilst we drank more coffee and munched more monster cookies than is medically advisable. You should get the drift:

Films

Pulp Fiction. To our knowledge there is no online slot for this blockbuster. So many great symbols and bonus round opportunities for that theme. You’d have to put a quarter pounder, or “royal with cheese,” in there. Think about the sound card you could have with Samuel L dropping his legendary lines.

The Blues Brothers. There is a huge cult following for this 80’s classic. Jake and Elwood would be your wilds of course. Maybe the old police car the scatter. Your bonus game might be the dash to save the orphanage with Illinois’ finest in hot pursuit. We appreciate to develop the game you would need to have a license agreement with Universal and since NYX does, perhaps their slot development arm NextGen can put the wheels in motion for this one.

Sharknado. The blockbuster hit with D lister celebs Ian Ziering and Tara Reid would make an excellent slot theme. The sharks could be expanding cloning wilds and the main feature could be sharknado free spins or you could be taken to a screen where sharks swirl in a tornado and by killing the sharks, you’d reap cash prizes. This game of course would need to be in 3D as the sharks need to swirl towards you for added suspense. Perhaps BetSoft could take on the Sharknado film. As there are now three films out, the bonus round could also have three levels to represent each film release.

Board Games

Chutes and Ladders.
You could have various levels in the game and make it a progressive slot if you reach the top and hit the jackpot. Paylines could zig zag like the chutes and ladders do in the board game. We think IGT with their MultiWayXtra functionality would be a good candidate to develop this slot with 720 ways to win!

Operation.
A slot based on the Operation board game that so many of a certain age will be familiar with. Symbols would be the various vital organs that the game features and the bonus rounds could replicate the operation procedure, with the fate of the unfortunate patient in your hands. A great interactive slot game developer like Rabcat Gaming could take on Operation.

TV Soap Opera

As The World Turns.
Could be “As the Slot Reels Spin”. We got the idea for this soap opera themed slot as Arrow’s Edge has developed a “Days of Our Slots” based on the Days of Our Lives soap. The game could have soft lighting like you’d see in daytime soaps and symbols could be of the characters from the show. There could be a Gossip or Dramatic Bonus feature. You could have a pick’em bonus round where you choose between pain killers, a diamond ring, or a glass of wine to drown your sorrows. Otherwise, choose various subplots to see which pays out more.

You can expand on some of our ideas and suggest maybe how they can be made more interactive, or even better, come up with your own. Get involved now and lets have some fun with this!
